General Education Recertification for 2025-2026 Courses

Courses that were approved for 2025-2026 went through an expedited review process that did not involve incorporating USF Gen Ed components. Therefore, we are asking all courses approved during the 2025-2026 cycle to complete the Gen Ed Recertification proposal in Curriculog.

For the recertification, proposers will need to add the USF General Education components. The following information will be required:

-  Choose two of the critical skill domains to add to the course (Critical/Analytical Thinking,
   Communication, Problem Solving)

-  Choose up to three enhancements to add to the course (Civic Engagement, Information
and Data Literacy, Creative Thinking, Quantitative Reasoning, Cultural Competence,
    Experiential Learning

-   Provide information on how these skills will be embedded in the course and assessed

Proposal Deadlines

Curriculog closes on  Monday, December 1st, 2025 by 5:00 pm. All recertification proposals must be submitted by proposers on or before that date.
