We see apples as “America’s fruit”. We have state flowers and national birds, why not an honor for our favorite produce? They have been around since the beginning of time and have long been a fixture in American life. Because they are part of our fabric, we believe they deserve their time in the sun. The sheer number of apple varieties and flavors make this core ingredient a playground of imagination for us.
Today, hard cider is a far cry from what it used to be. To start, we select the Northwest’s best organically grown apples hand picked in small batches. Because organic fruit is smaller and has a much more intense flavor, we are starting with the apple world’s version of liquid gold. On top of that, we never pollute this perfection with sulfites, concentrates, added sugar or preservatives. The result is simply better. Much better.
What to look for:
The Hatchet Apple – Organic apples work harder to make it through the growing season. They’re smaller, and much more expensive, but they give us the intensity we crave. As our accountant winces, we hope you’ll smile.
